Breast Reconstruction Procedure
There are different approaches to breast reconstruction after mastectomy. For some, immediate reconstruction following mastectomy is an option. Others may have to delay reconstruction until additional treatments are completed. In some instances, breast reconstruction can be a two or three step process – depending on the type of reconstruction the doctor and patient agree upon. Regardless of the timeline, breast reconstruction is emotionally and physically rewarding procedure where patients can reclaim their mental outlook and positive body image.
