Dr. Zavitsanos.

Dr. Zavitsanos completed his Plastic Surgery training at Duke University with an additional Fellowship in Hand Surgery from The University of Louisville. Prior to attending Duke University, he completed his General Surgery Residency at Graduate Hospital in affiliation with University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Zavitsanos received his medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. Dr. Zavitsanos is double Board Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Zavitsanos serves as Chief of the Plastic Surgery Division within Jefferson Hospital Northeast Division as well as maintains full privileges at some of the areas finest hospitals, including Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington Lansdale, Chestnut Hill Hospital, Albert Einstein Medical Center, and Holy Redeemer Hospital.

In addition to active membership in the national societies of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Zavitsanos supports and maintains membership in many of the local Plastic Surgery Societies such as The Robert Ivy Society, The Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Pennsylvania Medical Society and The Philadelphia Chapter of The American College of Surgeons. He has also been a Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Doctor since 2014.
